Twelve Tips for Helping People with Autism and Their Families Have a Happy Holiday
The disruption in schedules and routines that occur during the holiday season can be difficult for individuals with autism and their families. The Autism Society of America, with input from the Indiana Resource Center for Autism, Easter Seals Crossroads, the Sonya Ansari Center for Autism at Logan and the Indiana Autism Leadership Network, have developed twelve tips in the hopes of lessening the stresses of the holiday season and allowing it to be a more enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
